The name Waheeda Rehman needs no introduction. In a film career spanning over six decades, she has given memorable performances in many films that went on to become cult classics. Few of her biggest films include CID, Pyaasa, Kaagaz Ke Phool, Chaudhvin Ka Chaand, Sahib, Bibi Aur Ghulam, Bees Saal Baad, Guide, Teesri Kasam, Neelkamal, Khamoshi, Reshma Aur Shera, Kabhi Kabhi, Trishul, Namak Halaal, Coolie, Chandni, Lamhe, Rang De Basanti, Delhi 6 and many more. A lesser known side of this acting legend has been her love for jungles and wildlife. She has given expression to this love through her breathtaking wildlife photographs that she has clicked travelling all over the world, be it Africa or Asia. Her wildlife photographs show the finesse of a seasoned photographer and wildlife lover. The first-ever wildlife photography exhibition of Waheeda Rehman was held on August 26-27, 2015 at the capital of Madhya Pradesh Bhopal. She personally attended the event and also cut the ribbons for this exhibition. Waheeda Rehamn is associated with the Tigerland India Film Festival as its Advisor.
