About the place:
Nestled amidst the magnificent Satpura ranges of Madhya Pradesh, Satpura is one of the few undisturbed forest areas of India. For a wildlife lover who wishes to explore raw nature –untouched and unpolluted by man-made artificialities, this is ‘the’ place. Besides regular carnivore & herbivore wild species, one gets to see the rare Indian Giant Squirrel very frequently here. Other prominent species include Tiger, Sloth Bear, Dhole, Sambhar, Chital, Barking Deer, Nilgai, and a wide variety of birds.
