About the place:
Kheoni is a small yet beautiful forest with good wildlife presence. Due to small area, chances of wildlife sighting are very good. Major carnivores include tiger, leopard, jackal and hyena. Spotted deer, blackbuck, nilgai are commonly seen herbivores. Rich birdlife including the state bird of Madhya Pradesh Paradise Flycatcher make it a heaven for bird-watchers.
