Abhinandan Shukla is a writer and filmmaker by profession with more than 11 years of work-experience. Wildlife and History have been his areas of interest. After a Masters Certification in Direction from the prestigious Film and Television Institute of India (FTII), Pune (India), he has worked in Pune, Mumbai and Bhopal, including a long stint as the director of a media production company. 

Abhinandan has so far written and directed more than a score of short films and documentaries. He has been a Regular Member of the Film Writers’ Association, Mumbai since Jan. 2008. An avid nature photographer, he has clicked hundreds of photographs featuring Indian wildlife. He has also written several informative books on animals and birds, the last being ‘Tales from Tigerland’. He also edits the yearbook of the festival ‘Tigerland’. Abhinandan is associated with the Tigerland India Film Festival as its Director & CEO.
