Tigerland India Biodiversity Conservation Award (TIBCA) 2017 was jointly conferred upon those four persons who played a pivotal role in developing the 'Era Capture Technique' under Operation Nilgai conducted by the Wildlife Wing of Madhya Pradesh Forest Department under the leadership of the Chief Wildlife warden Shri Jitendra Agrawal. These four persons are Rajnish Kumar Singh, Kartikeya Singh, Akbar Khan & Pramod Dhurve.

     All four eco-warriors were personally present to receive the award from the renowned wildlife filmmaker and three time Green Oscar winner Shri Mike Pandey. Others present to honour the winners included Padmashri film critic and author Bhawana Somaaya ji, HoFF & PCCF Animesha Shukla ji, APCCF Shri R Sreenivasa Murthy, APCCF Shri Deleep Kumar ji, VC of BU Shri Pramod Verma ji and Director TIFF Shri Abhinandan Shukla.

    Rajnish Kumar Singh, an ACF with the Madhya Pradesh Forest Department, played a pivotal role in planning the entire operation. He led the team that executed the plan successfully. Kartikeya Singh, a wildlife enthusiast who works towards wildlife conflict management, played a crucial role in the execution stage of the operation. Akbar Khan and Pramod, both residents of the local village, supported the operation at the ground-level and played a major role to involve the local people with the operation. TIFF celebrates the success this noble conservation initiative of the Wildlife Wing of Madhya Pradesh Forest Department.
